You need your Insaio number (on the dashboard under Phone number(s)) and your phone or access to your phone system.
1. Choose when to forward
Decide when your agent should take over:
- Always: Every call goes straight to your agent.
- When you don’t answer: Your phone rings first, then your agent takes over.
- When busy: Your agent takes over while you are on another call.
For most people, “When you don’t answer” together with “When busy” works best.
2. Set up forwarding
- Open Settings › Apps › Phone › Call Forwarding.
- Turn on Call Forwarding.
- Tap Forward to and enter your Insaio number.
Open the Phone app › ⋮ › Settings and look for Call forwarding (on Samsung: Supplementary services › Call forwarding). Choose the situation and enter your Insaio number.
Type the code in the Phone app and press call. Replace “number” with your Insaio number, for example +494012345678.
- Always:
*21*number# - When you don’t answer:
*61*number# - When busy:
*67*number# - All situations together:
*004*number# - Turn off all forwarding:
##002#
You forward a landline or office number in your phone system. The menus are named differently from system to system, but the steps are the same everywhere:
- Open your phone system's settings. For a cloud phone system that is your provider's customer portal; for a system in your office or a router it is usually a page in your browser.
- Look for call forwarding or call diversion and create a new one.
- Enter your Insaio number as the destination, choose when to forward and save.
3. Test forwarding
Call your usual number from another phone. Your agent answers, for example like this:
“Hello. This is the digital assistant of Anna Berger, Berger Insurance. How can I help you?”
You then find the conversation under Interact › Interactions.
